PEOPLE Training for Industry Professionals in Amsterdam
On Monday, 29 January 2018, eleven industry professionals working for the Dutch energy network company and PEOPLE industry partner Alliander attended a PEOPLE training for industry professionals at the VU University Amsterdam. At the training, they explored with VU Amsterdam staff and PEOPLE team members how anthropology brings value to business in general and Alliander in particular.
The training was part of the preparation phase of the first PEOPLE Learning Cycle in The Netherlands and followed an earlier training, provided by Alliander for VU staff and students in October 2017. In the PEOPLE project, each Learning Cycle includes professional development training programmes for business professionals and educators or research staff from higher education to transfer and share knowledge and experiences. The goal of the training for business professionals is to introduce research and development methods, case studies, and the potential of people-centred development approaches.
